The principal of design I was looking for while I took this photo was birds eye view to show the foreground and background of the foliage, along with the handle of the basket.
The principal of design I was going for in the tall portrait photo of this composition was informal balance of the painting against the brick wall. The top right and bottom right pictures are showing the design element of texture with the bricks and flower petals
The design I was looking for in the top picture here was birds eye view to get a different look at a modern day cross. The element portrayed in the bottom picture was rule of thirds. I put the vase in the right third of the picture. Some of the lines with the bricks also line up to the lines in the rule of thirds.

My camera work in this project was good but not great. As you can tell, in the composition with three pictures, the whites are in fact white. In the composition with two pictures my whites are a little yellow. I should have white balanced better for the composition with two photographs, but that is why I decided to group them together, to unify the piece. My editing for this project was a bit easier than projects in the past because now I am used to what I want to do when editing a photograph. I also like the way I composed my pictures together. They unify with each other within each composition, and some unify with photographs from other compositions. I found success with taking pictures of things you wouldn't normally take pictures of; the results can pleasantly surprise you. A recommendation I would make is to be sure you have white balanced correctly before taking any photographs.
